The Latino singer, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February, is reportedly losing up to 10lbs a week by getting up at 4am and hitting the gym in a bid to regain her famous figure.

A source told Britain's Closer magazine: "Jennifer has always been a workaholic and she has applied the same attitude to her post-pregnancy regime. Because raising twins is so demanding, she gets up at 4am to fit it all in.

"She spent the last month of her pregnancy planning her regime with a team of nutritionists and personal trainers. She calls them her 120lb team in reference to her target weight. She is working out for three hours a day, seven days a week."

Jennifer, who is married to singer Marc Anthony, is also believed to have cut all carbohydrates from her diet and is surviving on 1,400 calories a day. She is eating only high-protein steamed fish or chicken and fresh vegetables.

The source added: "Jennifer doesn't allow herself any sugar, caffeine or alcohol and she only drinks purified water." (music-news.com)

The 'Toxic' singer - who lost all visitation rights to two-year-old Sean Preston and 18-month-old Jayden James in January following a stand-off with police - has recently had limited access to the boys and is now showing signs of responsible parental behaviour.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, lawyer for Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline, who currently has sole custody, told America's OK! magazine: "Britney's progress over the last two months is good. But it's premature to say that two months shows a pattern of consistency.

"We need to see a steady, consistent trend of behaviour for a while. The goal is consistency over time with nothing at all out of the ordinary." Once Britney has proved she is a suitable mother, Kaplan says Kevin is keen for her to be involved in the boys' everyday lives.

He said: "Kevin's goal involves primary custody but also involves his desire to see Britney become, over time, a solid and substantial figure in her boys' lives. And she is inching toward that."

Earlier this year, Britney was sectioned at a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital following her bizarre behaviour. Her father Jamie is currently in control of all her affairs.(music-news.com)

The 'Girlfriend' singer is keen to branch out beyond the music industry and try her hand at running a celebrity publication, but insists she will only focus on optimistic stories.

She said: "I would make it completely positive. There's so much negativity in the world right now. I'd pick up the big stories, but they'd have to be positive."

This isn't the first time Avril has expressed an interest in other careers. Last month, the singer unveiled her new clothing line - Abbey Dawn. The range, which includes hooded tops, jeans and T-shirts, will go on sale in the US in July.

The 23-year-old singer is also planning to release her own range of beauty products. Avril applied for a patent for the line which is set to include "fragrances and perfume, aftershave, bath soap, shower gel, bath crystals, body lotion, body cream, hand lotion and talc."(Music-news.com)

Madonna is set to soon be named the official adoptive parent of David Banda the Malawian government recommended the High Court formally approve the process.
An official has deemed the singer a suitable mother, after visiting the London home Madonna shares with husband Guy Ritchie and children Lourdes and Rocco.

It was decided it would be "in the best interests" of David, two, to stay with the couple.

The '4 Minutes' singer caused controversy when she brought then one-year-old David home from the African country in October 2006.

Critics claimed she had been given preferential treatment because of her star status despite Malawian laws which prevent non-citizens from adopting.

Madonna's lawyers have requested her court appearance should be delayed from next week until the end of April because she has prior engagements in the US.

A court official said: "They have made that application at the High Court, and the judge is expected to respond soon." (music-news.com)

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, wants Shaniqua Tompkins and their son Marquise Jackson to leave the property in Long Island.

In February, a judge reduced Tompkins' monthly support payments from $25,000 to $6,700 on the condition they would partly use the money in a bid to find a new place to live.

But 50 is now claiming Tompkins - who also lives with a daughter from another relationship - didn't even attempt to look for a new residence, and is taking advantage of the situation as the house is still in his name and he continues to pay all the bills.

However, Tompkins' lawyer Paul Catsandonis is expected to argue today that her client cannot be evicted from the property as she is not officially a tenant, because she never had a lease agreement and consequently has never paid rent.

Catsandonis will also claim Tompkins was initially promised the house by 50, but the rapper changed his mind before closing the sale.

The 33-year-old star has attempting to fight the ageing process with Natralox cream, which contains 'wonder ingredient' Argireline, to smooth out any unwanted wrinkles on her face.

Argireline claims to relax muscles, while hyaluronic acid - found in injectable fillers - is believed to help plump out wrinkles. The cream also includes vitamins A and C, along with amino acids.

The mother-of-three is eating plenty of fennel, which is often used in detoxes, and vegetables rich in phytonutrients - a nutrient which is believed to reduce the risk of cancer. She is also snacking on nuts and seeds to provide essential fatty acids and help her skin glow.

The source added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Victoria is the happiest she has been with her shape for a long time and is desperate to maintain what she calls her optimum weight now the tour is over.

he 'Crazy In Love' singer is planning to tie the knot with the rapper in New York City tomorrow afternoon. The pair - who have been dating for six years - are believed to have applied for a marriage license in New York on Tuesday (01.04.08).

They emerged from Scarsdale Village Hall holding hands and smiling after meeting with a clerk to obtain the documents. A source told People magazine: "It was just the two of them. They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy."

The marriage license is valid for 60 days.

Friends of the couple have confirmed the wedding reports, which were sparked after 26-year-old Beyonce was seen wearing a diamond band on her ring finger last month.

One pal said: "Jay is trying to pull it together quickly to keep it quiet. They really wanted it to be private."

The '4 Minutes' singer was shunned by her classmates because she chose to concentrate on her music rather than experiment with drugs like her peers.

She said: "In high school I wasn't a hippie or a stoner, so I ended up being the weirdo. I was interested in classical ballet and music, so the kids were quite mean if you were different.

"I was one of those people that people were mean to. When that happened, instead of being a doormat, I decided to emphasise my differences. But if your joy is derived from what society thinks of you, you're always going to be disappointed."

A source told Britain's Star magazine: "To motivate her, she's splurged out on a $50,000 home gym for her New York mansion. She's also consulted trainers, nutritionists and doctors, looking for the safest way to drop the weight in record time."

Jennifer, 38, is also planning to start using food delivery programme Fresh Mommy, an all-natural food company which provides expectant or new mothers with healthy meals.

People magazine editor Peter Castro - who interviewed the star and published world exclusive photos of the twins - recently claimed Jennifer was in no rush to lose her baby weight and was more concerned with enjoying motherhood.

The singer - who is dating Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - has teamed up with US store Wet Seal, which will sell the tops in conjunction with the release of her third album 'Bittersweet World'.

She said: "I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording 'Bittersweet World' and it's been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs. I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts!"

Wet Seal is a young women's clothing retailer which stocks moderately priced brand name and company-designed apparel and accessories.

A beaming Kate reportedly emerged from a bar in the Dutch city and told fans: "I'm getting married!"

One onlooker added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The pair were in a bar looking very loved-up. Kate was so excited it looked like she had just accepted his proposal there and then. She was very happy.

"She came out giggling and seemed a little bit drunk. Lots of fans were taking her picture on their mobile phones. She told them she was getting married and when one girl asked her when, she said, 'Soon.'"

Friends of Kate - who has a five-year-daughter Lila from a previous relationship - are thrilled she is finally settling down, following her turbulent romance with drug addict Pete Doherty.

One said: "We're all so happy for Kate. Everyone was worried she would end up with Pete, who we thought was no good for her.

"We were convinced that, for some unknown reason, she saw him as the love of her life. Jamie looked like it could have been a bit of a rebound thing at first, but now it seems like it's the real deal."

The 'Angels' singer has become a keen chef after taking private cooking lessons and wants to show off his culinary skills with a TV programme and accompanying book.

A source said: "He has an urge to host his own cookery show and bring out a book with it."

However, friends are not convinced the star's calorie-laden menu will offer enough variety for a whole series.

The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The problem is, Robbie isn't exactly the healthiest eater on the planet. Who needs lessons in how to cook burgers and fries? That's about all he's interested in."

It was recently reported Robbie and his actor friend Max Beesley are set to star on a celebrity version of hit UK show 'Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares'.

If the project goes ahead, the pair will work in a failing restaurant and attempt to turn things round under chef Gordon Ramsay's ever-watchful eye.

Amy Winehouse has vowed to quit drugs following the sudden death of singer Corinne Bailey Rae's husband.
The troubled 'Rehab' singer has been shocked into seeking help after her saxophonist friend Jason Rae - who was once a backing musician for Amy with his band The Haggis Horns - was discovered dead from a suspected drugs overdose on Saturday (22.03.08).

A friend told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Amy sacked Jason because he was so out of it and now it's her own life that has spun out of control.

"The scenario is no different. Amy takes the same substances with which Jason plied himself. She says she can't believe this happened and that she is still alive - and she can't let this be her future.

"She sees it as a wake-up call that she must stop."

Amy has been in and out of rehab over the past eight months. Her most recent stint was a two-week stay at London's Capio Nightingale Hospital earlier this year.

Yesterday (26.03.08), Amy visited husband Blake Fielder-Civil - who is incarcerated at London's Pentonville Prison awaiting trial on charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and perverting the course of justice - looking worryingly thin with nasty sores on her face and cuts on her arms.

Hove Festival, Norway, returns for its second year from June 23rd to June 27th. Hove Festival is a relative newcomer to the European festival map, but is already competing respectably with the other two main Scandinavian festivals Hultsfred and Roskilde.
With over 15,000 visitors each day, Hove was already in its first year the biggest festival in Norway.

Last year’s debut could also boast a carbon neutral status –zero carbon emissions – and the festival takes its environmental responsibilities seriously, collaborating closely with environmental groups such as Bellona from the planning stages. Nature is a key word here, with its idyllic location on the beautiful island of Tromøya outside the city of Arendal on the scenic Norwegian south coast, previously more known for its many naturalist painters than for its allegiance to 'the devil’s music'. US rap superstar Jay Z is the latest headliner to be confirmed for this fabulous Norwegian festival.

The gig at Hove offers an extremely rare chance to catch the American rapper at a European festival.

He said: 'The twins were almost 6lbs each when they were born. And right now, yes, Jennifer has lost a lot of the weight, but she is in no rush to lose all of it. She is enjoying motherhood and that is what she is concentrating on.'

Castro, who spoke to Jennifer ahead of the release of world exclusive photos of the twins in People, also revealed the 38-year-old star was unbelievably proud to be a mother.

He said: 'Jennifer described it as the most magical time of her life. She said, 'You know what? You can win an Oscar, you can win a Golden Globe, and as an ambitious artist you strive for those things. But when you have a kid, all of that is irrelevant.’

The British singer is desperate lend his voice to the opening of the latest 007 adventure 'Quantum of Solace', but accepts he will have to get past current favourite Amy Winehouse.

He said in an interview with ITV.com: "I think trying to do a themed song for a film is great, a song that encapsulates what the whole film is about. "

Bond would be a great one. To be honest I know Amy Winehouse is being hotly-tipped for it, which would be great if she gets to do that, but the Bond films are an institution in themselves and you'd love to, as an artist, get involved with something like that. It would be great to be involved".

Sir Paul McCartney - whose band Wings created classic Bond theme 'Live and Let Die' for the movie of the same name in 1973 - recently tipped Amy for the job.

He said: "I think Amy Winehouse would do a really good job with the Bond theme. My advice to her would be not to try and rhyme 'Solace' with anything - that's too hard."

A representative for the rapper said: "After partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone's partying responsibly."
