20 years have passed since Kylie begun her career in the music industry and the moment for her to be awarded for this has come.The award came from the prestigious "British Awards" awards.
The prize that Kylie got was introduced as being:"An recognition for her universal state and her pop career,of her unique style gathered in over 20 years of career thanks to her new things brought,experimentation and continuous inspiration.

David Muns, the president of the award committee said:"There is no doubt that of all the 15 contestants for this category Kylie Minogue was the best for this distinction.
She deserves the prize for the success that she had in these 20 years,remaining in the top of one of the most competitive industries."

Before she was awarded at the "British Awards" Kylie said:"It is and incredible honor to be the one the will get the prize for Thrust from the Music Industry and i`m really glad that my work is recognized in this way.

At 39 years old Kylie was awarded at the ceremony that took place in London,on the 29th of October ,where 1200 guests were present.Among the celebrities that were awarded this prize was Elton John and Peter Gabriel.

Kylie Minogue released her 10th album on the 29 of November.
